What Is Dye Sublimation?

In short, dye sublimation is a form of high heat printing that produces exceptionally high-quality, vibrant sharp images and graphics.

“Dye sub printing” surpasses screen printing and inkjet printing because it doesn’t simply impart the pigment onto the surface of the fabric as these other methods do. As you might imagine, surface pigment on a fabric that’s going to stretch a lot — like ours — wouldn’t work so well. That’s because screen printing and inkjet printing produces a malformed “stretched out” look. Dye sub printing, on the other hand, creates perfectly proportioned graphics, logos, and images even when stretched. Your graphics will not bleed, crack, or warp.

Our dye sublimation printer prints at 150 DPI resulting in the cleanest, most crisp images and graphics in the industry.

Color Choices and Finishing

We can print on our fabric products with any colors. If requested, we can even use PMS (Pantone Matching System) colors to ensure a perfect match for brand uniformity. Printed products can also be finished with pole pockets, hemmed edge, surged edges, or webbing loops for rigging.

Dye Sublimation Printing Costs

Printing on stretch fabric starts at $8 per square foot and is discounted based upon job size. Please keep in mind that the minimum order price for our printed products is $400. We also offer artwork placement and setup for $60/hour.

In terms of shipping times, the standard lead time for printed products is 10 business days, but we can expedite these orders for an additional fee.
